My dog can be aggressive with other dogs sometimes, can I bring them anyway?

We value the safety of all of our guests at Taps & Tails and therefore ask that if your dog is aggressive (or sick, or recently recovering from surgery, etc.) that you do not bring them in. Even though we have our Bark Rangers overseeing the dogs, we still require the dog owners to be responsible for their dogs at all times. Any dogs or humans that are engaged in aggressive, unruly or just poor behavior, will be asked to leave.

I just adopted a dog/puppy. When can I visit?

We require all newly adopted dogs/puppies to wait at least 4 weeks before bringing them to play. It provides them time to acclimate to their new environment before introducing them into a dog park. Dog parks can be overwhelming at first, especially after being newly introduced into a new home. Give your pup time to adjust.

Are there other specific rules for dogs to visit Taps & Tails?

Yes, there definitely are. We have a full list of our Dog requirements listed here.
